AutoWeek scored some spy photographs of the upcoming two-door version of the tech-laden Cadillac CTS, the company's popular sports sedan; Cadillac plans to launch the coupe in late 2009. It's a pretty striking look, although the back portion of the car appears to be, well, copious.

The photographs show very little camouflage; even the rims have been shown before on a production wagon version of the CTS. The report said that the coupe shares the same platform and front-end sheetmetal as the CTS sedan and the aforementioned sport wagon, which is due next spring. The car will get the same 3.6-liter, direct-injection V6 that puts out 304 hp, and AutoWeek said that a 500 hp+ V-series version will probably show up as well.
