Once again Nissan is flexing its green muscle as it presents some its most advance alternative vehicle systems at the Nissan Advanced Technology Week in Japan, scheduled for August 4-8.
From all-electric and hybrid-electric prototypes, to the next generation fuel cell stacks with doubled power density, this latest display of eco-savvy is all about upstaging competitors like Toyota and Honda with an eye on the U.S. A broad range of upcoming tech will make the show, including the ominous ECO Pedal which actually pushes back under too much throttle.
Of course the star of the event is undoubtedly the Nissan Denki Cube, which goes from concept to testing, featuring advanced lithium-ion batteries and a notable range of 100 miles. Other highlights include a cleaner, more efficient gas engine design and a gas-electric hybrid platform for the rear-drive Infinity models.
