This multi-function crutch seems to have been designed for much more than just its intended consumers, hiking experts. The forearm crutches features an LED torch, an alarm, and red signal lights. Add a shock absorber to reduce strain on the wrist, and you've got something that could work well for those getting on in age. And tech geeks may like the fact that it looks a bit like a warhammer.
Film makers may be able to use the LED lights for low-light situations. And the alarm/red signal lamp may be useful for the kids when they want to play cops and robbers.
For $31, this does seem a bit expensive, though--hopefully, it's durable enough for the hikers it's intended for.
