Microsoft debuted the new SideWinder X5 gaming mouse today, aimed at giving "'mainstream gamers a competitive edge." The X5 has nine buttons--five of which can be used to easily and quickly access all your most often used controls/actions while gaming.
Also included (and not previously seen before, at least by this blogger) is a quick-launch button to bring up Windows Vista Games Explorer. And ideal for gamers (and probably for artists/photographers looking to control minute amounts of detail) is that sensitivity is adjustable up to 2,000 dpi.
The new SideWinder will retail for $59.99 this September.
