Sony and ECLIPSE both launched separate contests targeting enthusiast types. Lovers of media--be it HD, music, or good old DVDs--may want to check out what the companies have to offer at the end of summer.

Sony's video contest asks PC owners, "What's in your HDNA?" Entrants must make a 1-minute video relating to music, movies, videos, games and pictures. Submissions can be posted at www.whatsinyourhdna.com. The winner will receive a complete Sony High Definition prize package (no specific details on what's included), along with the theater-inspired VAIO FW HD notebook. Five additional finalists will also receive a new VAIO FW HD Notebook.
ECLIPSE launched the second "ECLIPSE Driving Music 2008"online sweepstakes, in which winners have three chances to win the ECLIPSE AVN6620 in-dash navigation systems. The AVN6620 integrates audio and DVD features as well. All that enter can win a copy of "ECLIPSE Driving Music 2008," a music video DVD compilation of music vids and tracks from artists such as Maroon 5, Bon Jovi, Rihanna, Ne-Yo, Nicole Scherzinger, All American Rejects, and Common.
