Including the Sharp smartphone, Willcom 03, Willcom Japan announced two more handsets to complete its summer release line-up. In case you've forgotten what Willcom 03 was all about, it is a Windows Mobile 6.1 Classic Japanese Edition smartphone with a 3-inch WVGA LCD touch display, a sliding full QWERTY keypad, 2MP camera, and Opera Mobile 9.5 browser. Willcom D4 is also a Sharp-manufactured smartphone with a WSVGA (wide super VGA) touch display for some high-definition mobile viewing. The phone runs on Windows Mobile, with its display flipping open to reveal a full QWERTY keyboard.

Providing a sense of balance to the two feature-rich smartphones is the company's third offering for the summer, Willcom 9. It's the usual angular clamshell that's commonly seen on Japanese handsets. It comes in either black or white with a 1.3 megapixel camera and a QVGA display. Willcom D4 will be released this July 11, 2008, while Willcom 9 will make its debut on July 18, 2008.
