Samsung announced its latest entry into the world of "YouTube camcorders." The new SC-MX20 is taking the SC-MX10 spot as the company's compact digital camcorder, featuring, among other things, an optimized YouTube mode.

The new compact camcorder has 34x optical zoom, 720 x 480 resolution, Advanced Image Stabilization, and 3D Noise Reduction.

There's no on-board memory here, instead the camera features an SD slot that supports cards up to 32GB. It also has H.264 compression for more recording time and better record quality. According to the company, users should be able to get up to four hours with a 4GB card, eight hours with 16GB, and 16 hours with 32GB.

Samsung's SC-MX20 will be available in August for $279.99. It comes in black, red, white, and blue.

That's not exactly linear. Is there a typo?
