Digital Signature has announced the launch of the Mint 220 Digital Music Station, a multimedia speaker system that's on the affordable side. Mint 220 is primarily an iPod docking station, although it could serve as a wireless speaker as well. Compatible with both Mac and PC, all you need to do is plug the USB transmitter onto your computer and you're good to go. You can enjoy what Digital Signature claims is music with zero loss of fidelity using the device's 2.4 GHz wireless computer connectivity as long as Mint 220 is within 45 feet of the computer.

The Mint 220 Digital Music Station features two 3.5-inch full-range transducers. Aside from the iPod dock and the wireless connection, there's also a universal line-in for the oft-forgotten Zune and other multimedia and MP3 players (even TVs). You can now get the Mint 220 Digital Music Station for $179.99 online.
