Spike-the-Ultra-Dinosaurfor.jpg
Flashing lights, realistic sounds, robotics, wireless controls: What else could your kid ask for? Spike the Ultra Dinosaur by Fisher-Price will bring Jurassic adventures right into your living room.

It walks forward, turns left and right (doesn't walk backwards, unfortunately), opens its mouth, blinks its eyes, stands on its hind legs, and even throws boulders. Spike's neck can swing from left to right—which will either scare all the other little kids on the playground or make them very envious. When standing on its hind legs, Spike's (um) spikes light up as if it's going to attack—kind of reminds you of Godzilla, doesn't it?

Now while I've heard of the awesome process of genetic manipulation to try to bring dinosaurs back to life, I think your kid will be completely satisfied with the robot version.

Spike is available now for $129.99. Hit the jump to see video of Spike attacking other products at last night's DigitalLife press preview.
