TokyoFlash Japan released on Tuesday its Nekura series of wrist watches that I just have to have. The Progression watch features a hybrid LCD display with multi-colored LEDs embedded to suit your mood. The water-resistant watch rotates through six colorsblue, green, cyan, red, pink, and orangeand also has an alarm mode and date mode. The custom-engraved, self-adjusting wristband is made from stainless steel. To read the time, count the number of blocks around the edges of the display to indicate the hours, and minutes are indicated by the digits in the center of the circle.
The Scramble watch also cycles through various LED colors on its LCD display. To read the time on this watch, however, the two sets of blocks on either side of the screen indicate the number of hours, the blocks in the middle represent the movement of time in groups of five minutes, and the small blocks at the top show single minutes.
The Progression and Scramble watches both sell for ¥12,900 ($123 USD), with free 5-day worldwide shipping.

So now instead of one glance one will need 5 minutes to figure out what time it is...

I want one of those watches STAT. I mean, just LOOK at the thing. It's so futuristic! And stylish, too!

Tokyoflash has really outdone itself this time. I am totally geeking-out over the stylized circuit-board-looking silver watch bands--especially the one on the Scramble!
