Sure money can't buy you happiness, and apparently, even on the black market, you can't pick up a good copy of love, either. But if there's one thing that the electronic industry has taught us, it's that money can in fact buy you a big TV. A really, really big TV.
The 108-inch Sharp Aquos LB-1085, the self-proclaimed "world's largest LCD" which is set to go on-sale in Japan next week, finally got a price tag. So, what's the value of a device that will almost certainly led to a life's worth of neck pain? The 108-inch LCD will set you back 1,000,000 Yen ($ 110,000), which should, at the very least, help relieve some of that back pain caused by your over-stuffed wallet.
The Sharp Aquos boasts a 1,920×1,080 resolution, 1,200:1 contrast ratio, supports 7.6 million colors, and is sure to make for some very jealous neighbors--at least until that 110-inch comes out...

Whoa! Maybe next year. Can't justify a TV that costs many times more than most cars.

You got your conversion rate wrong. Knock off a zero from the $ price.

I agree re the conversion rate. 1 Yen = about 1 US cent, so this LCD sets you back about $10K.

1 000 000 Japanese yen = 9 248 U.S. dollars according to google :)
