Renault just launched the fuel-cell Scénic ZEV H2 prototype, according to AutoblogGreen. It's a small minivan-like vehicle that, according to the company, can hit speeds of about 100 mph and last for 200 miles on its 350 bar-pressurized tank that holds up to 3.7 kg of H2.
The report said that Renault-partner Nissan supplied the fuel cell, the tank and the lithium-ion battery, while Renault's engineers prepared the Scénic's floor to be able to admit them. This increased the height of the car by 2.5 inches, but left its overall interior and trunk space intact.
