Memory upgrade maker PNY Technologies today announced the XLR8 GeForce GTX 280 PCI-e 2.0 and GTX 260 PCI-e 2.0 graphics cards, which are based on the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 200 Series.
"With convincing facial animation, multiple ultra-high polygon characters in complex environments and fully simulated physical effects, these cards bring 3D games to life," said Nicholas Mauro, senior marketing manager, PC components. "Not just for gamers, these cards broaden our scope of products to reach even programmers--who need to offload processing tasks from the CPU to the GPU. In fact, the GTX 200 series delivers performance improvements up to 7x a traditional CPU."
