Those familiar with the1989 quasi-classic Robert Zemeckis sequel, Back to the Future II, know that we've got a bit of catching up to do if we're going to hit the director's mark. It's not quite a hoverboard (damn it!), but these Nike Hyperdunks will have to do.

As Wired points out, the shoes lack what is arguably the most essential feature, the sweet "autolace" technology, ably demonstrated on the feet of Michael J. Fox. Still, if you're aching for some future-by-way-of-the-late-80s fashion, it doesn't come much slicker than these bad boys.

What they lack in lacing skill, however, they, at least partially, make up for with Nike's new "Flywire technology," which means they're lighter than Christopher Lloyd's day planner.
