Guitar Hero gods can finally have their dreams of going on tour realized--Nintendo just announced the release of a new silver-and-black DS to accompany the first-ever portable version of Guitar Hero, which will be bundled as Guitar Hero: On Tour.

The bundle includes a "Guitar Grip" attachment with the color-coded buttons to simulate Guitar Hero's guitar. Also included is a custom-designed Guitar Hero pick stylus.

Guitar Hero: On Tour features a wide variety of music, including tracks from Blink-182, No Doubt, Jet, Nirvana, Bloc Party and many others, players can rock out in career mode, join together in co-op or go head-to-head in a "Guitar Duel" using Battle Items unique to the DS platform.

"Available on June 22, 2008...the bundle provides a cool combo package for grads about to head off to college as well as summertime, road-tripping rockers of all ages," stated the release.

I wonder what add-ons will be created for this. I predict a lot of emo music.
