Remember the electric orange BMW M1 Homage concept? How could anyone forget, right? CAR is reporting that BMW plans to build it after all. "We have the know-how, we have the right engine, we even have the infrastructure to build such a car," company board member Herbert Diess told the magazine.
According to the report, the company plans to build it with three different engines, "heron-wing" doors, and a driver-focused, multi-layered interior design. It will also feature the car's trademark mid-engine layout. We could see it as early as 2010, though that's probably wishful thinking. More details as we get them.
