There doesn't seem to be a heck of a lot of information about Xziex on the Web beyond what the company and its supporters have seeded themselves, like this Craigslist San Francisco posting listed on the site's Classes section: "I would be very glad, if You start the warter business with me in May. The people all over the world need to have good water. Without drugs and so on."
There seems to be a lot of enthusiasm surround this thing, and why shouldn't there be? It is "the future of water," after all. It's just tough to find any that doesn't seem to be drummed up by the company itself.
A visit to Xziex's official site doesn't reveal much, though entering your name, phone number, and e-mail address does reveal a touch more information along with a fear-mongering infomercial-quality video that involves, among other things, the animated word "arsenic" floating around in a woman's drinking glass. Honestly, I didn't make it far enough into the video to figure out how to pronounce that jumble of Zs and Xs.
What the device purports to do is this: turn air moisture into drinking water, effectively, "creat[ing] water out of thin air." Just don't expect to pick one of these things up for your apartment in the near future. Says the company: "What does 'Lock in My Position' mean? This means that a spot will be held for you in the company's 3x7 compensation matrix according to the time and date that you registered. Once registered you will receive information on the various start-up costs associated with retaining this position."
OK, maybe you can, just so long as you bring 20 of your closest friends along for the ride.

Oh for god's sake, it's a DEHUMIDIFIER! I've had one of these in my basement for YEARS, producing water out of "thin air". The only difference is that I toss the water when the bucket fills up (or water plants with it) instead of drinking it... aahh, the gullibility of the masses...

This is NOT a dehumidifier. It's an atmospheric water generator (AWG). While the Xziex is an MLM scheme (and therefore deserves skepticism), there are many legitimate companies that have been making AWGs (also known as atmospheric condensers) for years.
Dehumidifiers and air conditioners do indeed extract moisture from the air and release it as water. However, they don't clean the air or water in the process, making the final result undrinkable.
Air water extraction technology cleans both the air and the water, producing some of the purest water on the market today. In addition, you get dehumidification. One manufacturer even has a unit that works as an air conditioner. Other options are available.
I'm fascinated by these machines because they keep plastic bottles out of the waste stream, are ultimately cheaper than buying bottled water, and have the potential to save lives around the world. Let us not forget that 35,000 children die EVERY WEEK from water-borne diseases. Over 1.1 billion people don't have access to clean water.
(On a side note, there was a popular belief in the 70s that water without minerals was bad for you. This has been disproved by numerous studies, since the minerals in water are mostly nonsoluble, and exist only in minute quantities.)
For more information, (including a list of manufacturers), click on my name above and you'll be taken to my page on the subject.

So as he said it is a dehumidifier with a Brita filter attached :-)
Good idea, we shall see how it is marketed.

Standard AWGs have at least 3 stages of filtration:
1. An air filter
2. A carbon filter (which Britas also use)
3. A UV light to kill viruses and bacteria.
In addition, many companies add reverse osmosis, oxygenation or ozonation. It's not uncommon for an AWG to have 6 stages of filtration, plus ongoing recirculation through the stages to ensure water freshness.
In one post I saw, an AWG user's maid asked why there wasn't dust in the house anymore. The AWG was keeping the air THAT clean!
Figure up the cost of a quality air cleaner, a good dehumidifier, and a minimum of 3 gallons a day of purified water, and you'll soon see why people get excited over this technology. The water alone would cost you around $765 a year if you got it off supermarket shelves. Meanwhile, countertop AWGs (typically 2-5 gallons a day) are now available for around $500.
In addition, you'll have water for emergencies. Just store what you don't use and you'll be covered even if there's a run on the store. There's also solar and wind powered options available, providing you with drinking water no matter what.
Our sources of potable water are rapidly being depleted. The cost of bottled water will only go up. In my humble opinion, AWGs are a good investment.

Heidi, This is a cool site and I like what you have to say. First let me introduce my self. I am BigEd's brother we are working together to bring AWG's to the US market.
The one guy does make a point AWG's are Dehumidifiers with, as you have said, very good filtering. The main products on the market do have patented circulation systems and I know Wataire prides itself on the quality of their filtering.
Ed and I have tried to learn more about the Xziex but they play close to the vest. So I have some suspicions regarding their filtering process.
Wataire has had a study done,by the University of Kansas available for review on their website, that clearly states how effective their circulation system is at removing biologicals.
Wataire can also retro-fit industrial air conditioners to be ale to use the condensate as drinking water. This could be functional for Hospitals, Manufacturing plants and wherever industrial air conditioning is being used.
Their coolest system is a condenser that uses local water supplies to condense moisture from the air with a closed circuit water cooling system. It can produce 200,000 gallons a day. The local water supply (lake, Ocean...) needs to be 12 degrees cooler than the ambient temperature. As I said the circulating water, taken from a deep water source, in a closed system, used to condense water out of the air, then put back to the source. Usually the system is built into a green house so there is a secondary benefit.

I find it hard to believe that as soon as people are asked to part with money, it always for evil intentions. meanwhile, they get robbed every week by a corrupt government, and, they are afraid to say a word. No statue was ever erected to a critic.- author unknown.

Actually, that's what makes this machine different. This machine filters the air first! Then, the water goes through an advanced filtration process and you will even have the option of adding vitamins, flavors, etc. Plus, unlike bottled water coolers, the water won't go stagnant because it is constantly circulated.
Also, you don't have to give any contact information to see how it works if you go to www.4oursuccess.myxziex.com
You will only get contacted if you request to be contacted. That in my book is what sets this company apart from the rest.

OK, If you want the best tasting and safest drinking water that actually has health benefits and eliminates single use water bottles. Buy yourself a water ionizer. Which removes the contaminates from the water and raises the alkalinity and produces amazing antioxidant.

Pipe water can be shut off if there is a shortage ect-- Xziex makes water endlessly--

Hi,
I sitting in Germany reading your comments. I did some research work on this waterfromair mashines and was happy to see a product that seems good enough to have a future on worldwide markets as well as makes sence since bringing water to those who haven't got any. Fore those who can affort more they should of couse do something about the energizing process like I always use a tachyon energy plate where I place my liquides on.
Now - what chance do I have in Germany to come into business ...?

I have tasted this water and it's very good! and pure as you can get.
The Xziex company and it's engineer's have done a remarkable "job" on the technolgy in research and development of this remarkable machine.
In fact, it meet's all (UL) Underwriters Laboratory and (EPA) Environmental Protection Agency standards.
I contacted the (EPA) Regional Office in doing my own research and question one of the engineer's on how (UV) ultra Violet effect's the water in process through one of these machines, and the safety of the water and received this reply!
["Mr Brown,
In general, ultra violet (UV) disinfection has been proven to be effective in preventing microbiogical contamination in drinking water".)
For more info please fill free to vist my web site and learn more on this incredible technolgy.

Hello, Where is everyone coming from trying to find fault in something that is so needed, the company owners are great, the product is great, it is going help many people along the way. The exposure is good, we need people to educate themselves more on what is happening with our water here on our homefront. Have you had your water checked recently? Has anyone, read the labels on all this bottled water, then have it tested, you will be surprised. Then go to www.wellness.myxziex.com and check out the site, it is fully functional, the company has launched after a few delays.
