Wind'N Go Shaver.jpg

A lot of guys would love to sport that clean-shaved look at all times, no matter where they are. Sure, regular razors work anywhere, but not everyone is adept enough a shaver to avoid those nasty little nicks and cuts. Here's a solution: Nthe Wind 'N Go Freedom Shaver.

This gizmo works like a powered shaver, but it needs no batteries or electricity--you just wind it up, and it works. After 1 minute of winding, you get 2 minutes of shaving. It can be used at home, in the office, for quick touch-ups--and it's the perfect travel accessory. The shaver contains three individually floating and rotating heads that flex to contour to the face with precision cutting blades that comfortably cut stubble close to the skin. This convenient gizmo comes with a cleaning brush and a travel case with a mirror.

The Wind 'N Go Freedom Shaver is a mere $46 and can be purchased directly from the manufacturer's Web site. It does come with power adapters for charging at home or in the car, but you won't need them, because you will be too busy winding up for that perfect shave.

Most folks under 20 probably never heard of the Monaco Shaver -- a purely mechanical shaver that stored energy in a wound-up spring. It, too, could run for two or three minutes per winding, sufficient to complete a shave. They're considered collectibles now, if you can find one. The Monaco Shaver was a much simpler, more reliable solution to the problem of shaving while traveling. NASA sent one along on every Apollo mission to the Moon.
