BitTorrent is partnering with Orb Networks to allow users to view BitTorrent downloads on any Internet-connected device.

Installing BitTorrent and the Orb PC application on your computer lets you organize files, create playlists, and share content via e-mail, text, or social-networking site. You can also stream that content to IP-enabled devices like the iPhone, TVs or game consoles.

"People are tired and frustrated with the constraints that the media world has imposed on their ability to consume their own media," Joe Costello, CEO of Orb Networks, said in a statement. "It's your media, it's about time you were able to enjoy it where you wanted."

The download is available at www.orb.com/bittorrent.

Two years ago, Orb partnered with TiVo to will allow Series 2 TiVo owners to connect their boxes to the PC, allowing video content stored there to be remotely broadcast to a laptop or mobile device.
