Hello Kitty fans rejoice, a new cordless phone Uniden Japan designed with your beloved kitty is added to the slew of Hello Kitty products in the market. The Uniden UCT-005 cordless phone is a 2.4 GHz digital cordless system which uses frequency hopping method to provide an additional layer of security just in case you're conducting top secret military negotiations on the Kitty phone. It has, by the way, two possible cradles, the larger of which is an answering machine. Like the other lowly cordless phones that do not have Japan's tourism ambassador adorning them, the UCT-005 also has the usually LCD screen, reject call button, and record call function. You can get this Kitty cordless in either black with red trim or, for the hardcore Kitty fans, white with pink trim. A UCT-005 unit (which would be available come June 6, 2008) costs $95, plus $66 for the second cradle if you choose to buy one.
