The Ferrari California will make its official return at the Paris Auto Show this coming fall, but Road and Track has some pictures of the new car. The report said that it will feature a (typically small, for Ferrari) 4.3-liter, 460-hp V8, located just aft of the front axle, mated to a 7-speed double-clutch transaxle that allows you to choose gears manually or cruise in full automatic mode.

The new Ferrari California will also feature the company's F-1 Trac traction-control system, which you can also find on the 599 GTB Fiorano, along with Brembo brakes at all four corners. Oddly enough, Wired points out that the company is referring to the car as a "2+," which judging from the pictures, must mean two people plus their fat wallets.
