Mvix Medias new MV-2500U Portable Media Center is a hard disk-based media player designed to port videos, movies, music and family photos from your computer to your home entertainment system. The Media Center--which can also operate as a USB hard-drive enclosure--houses a 2.5" P-ATA / IDE drive (not included, but available separately) and supports capacities of 250GB or more.

Connected to the PC, the MV-2500 is designed to operate like an external USB 2.0 hard drive, letting you drag and drop content directly from the PC to the player. You can then connect the MV-2500 to a plasma or LCD TV and use the bundled IR remote control for complete PC couch-potato bliss. (Would that make you a YouTuber?)

The MV-2500 sells for $149 at the MVixUsa Store, where it can be bundled with hard drives ranging in price from about $100 (for 80GB) to $200 (for $250). Read more at Mvixusa.com.
