thanko_wrist_pad_mouse.jpgWhen you spend long hours in front of the computer, using a mouse might cause significant pain on your wrist. I've been using one of those mousepads with gel wrist pad for years, but since I have to move my wrists across the gel padding, I still end up hurting myself. In fact, I made it a habit to change my mouse-controlling hand every four hours or so. This mouse though is sort of a hybrid between a mouse and a mousepad with handrest. Attached to the mouse itself is the 1cm thick wrist support made of silicon with a honeycomb design. It's attached with a spring, which allows your hand to move freely as you browse on your computer without having to lift your wrist off of the pad. The device connects via USB and works with Windows XP and Vista, as well as Mac OSX. You can check out a video of the wrist pad mouse in Thanko, where it's currently on sale for $15.
