If you've got $110k burning a hole in your pocket—and I know you do—you may want to have a look at the Maserati GranTurismo. Road & Track got its hands on an S model (which actually costs $25k more, or $135k), and managed to snap a few interior pictures in between wringing out the car's 4.7 liter, quad cam, 440 hp V8 engine.
The 183 mph supercar features a built-in Maserati Multi Media navigation system with a ginormous 7-inch screen LCD screen, an RDS turner, a single CD player, and a 30GB hard disk with voice control. A Bose premium sound system replaces the standard unit, which incidentally, was just a garden-variety 4x25 watt RMS head unit hooked into six speakers—what did you expect in the base $110k car, anyway?
Transmission-wise, the GranTurismo S features the company's six-speed, sequential MC-SHIFT robotic transmission, which knocks off gear changes in 100 milliseconds and selections in just 40 milliseconds with the steering wheel-mounted paddles.
