After blessing the Inspiron 1525 with a palette of 8 colors and 4 patterns Dell decided to turn up the funk factor by letting the Brooklyn-based artist Mike Ming adorn the laptop with his unique, graffiti-inspired design work.
Starting at $699, the Special Art Edition Inspiron covers feature Ming's contemporary pop-culture graphics such as "Bunch O Surfers" or "Sea Sky." To make each of the artist's brushstrokes as vivid as possible, Dell even devised a new coating technique which creates a fluid, tattoo-like effect.
Reminiscent of earth, water and music, Ming's artwork creates an exciting fusion of computer design and urban expression. "I wanted to create a sense of energy, playfulness, sophistication and psychedelic momentum when I started this," said Ming. "This new technique from Dell brings my inspiration--water and the energy it produces--to life and gives computer aficionados their own display of style."

I have this computer. My computer looks exactly like this picture. It's pretty tight. I got a lot of compliments and...it sets me apart from everyone's elses laptop (well most of them, I'm the only one I've seen with this kind of laptop). Yeah, plus if my computer just happens to be in a row of other laptops...I'll instantly know which one is mine. :)
