Electric_Uno_MotorcycleMojo.jpg

Look out, Segway! 18-year-old Ben Gulak spent several years developing and testing the electric Uno, the latest form of green transportation that's controlled entirely by body movements. This may help solve the problem of getting to work through rush-hour traffic, according to Next Energy News. It also weighs just 129 lbs, can go 25 mph, and can last for 2.5 hours on a single charge.

The Uno uses gyroscopic technology to stay upright, which means that the rider leans forwards to accelerate and back to slow down. The Uno sports two wheels that can also work independently, which lets it turn on a dime. From the picture, it looks virtually impossible to ride. It certainly looks cool though, which isn't something I'd ever say about the Segway.

"I was inspired to make the bike after visiting China a few years ago and seeing all the smog," Gulak said. "I started with the concept because, if something doesn't look cool, people just won't be interested. After that, I started to build it and now have the first prototype and the reaction has been amazing."
