Let's face it, in this day and age, with the advent of notebook computers and smart phones, a pen has to do a lot more than just write to stay competitive. Take the 2GB Spy Pen--with a built in microphone and color video camera, this ballpoint is doing what it can to set itself apart from the bargain bin Bics.

The Spy Pen can record up to five hours in AVI format. It features a built-in reachable battery that should get about two hours on a charge. Twisting off the the top of the pen reveals a USB dongle that can be attached directly to your PC.

Of course, for all that you're going to pay a bit more than the cost of your standard pack of Paper Mates. The 2GB Spy Pen is available from Gadget4all for a cool $128.
