In the tech world, geeks love their toasters. Maybe it's because they can be so much more than just bread-warming machines? Sure, we don't really need toasters to do more than just toast, but most products on the market today serve more than just one purpose. And I'm all for multifunction-type devices.
Forget what you know of the counter-bound toaster, because the toaster of tomorrow can toast in just 50 seconds, has an integrated message board for writing notes, and can be hung on the wall.
Check out my full list of tantalizing toaster concepts. They sure do blow away my home toaster!

Gee, this PC Mag article looks remarkably similar to the toaster concept round-up I wrote in January at DVICE. Six of the examples are exactly the same. The Lift Toaster was something I found from an obscure Spanish student who had never been written about before. Hm.

@DVICE: Jen's been doing roundups like this one a long time. In fact, this is her second toaster roundup; the first one ran 6 months before yours did, and included some of the same products you used (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2704,2147062,00.asp). Any overlap is purely coincidental, we're sure!
