Navigon is now shipping the 2100 Max GPS navigator. It features an ultra-thin, stylish design, a 4.3-inch touchscreen, turn-by-turn voice guidance with spoken street names, optional FreshMaps service that updates every three months, emergency DirectHelp assistance, switchable 2D and 3D imagery, and a logbook feature.

The 2100 Max also features RealityView, which shows complicated intersections with actual road signs, photo-realistic graphics, and lane assistance, which in theory should prevent the dreaded "recalculating" announcement after you turned down the street you thought your GPS unit was telling you about. There's also a speed assistant, which warns if you go over a certain limit. The US-based 2100 Max will retail for $299 and is available now.
