The ModeLabs Group is announcing the design and distribution of its new—and not particularly impressive—HUMMER HT2 mobile phone, SlashPhone reports. This little (big?) number is a quad-band GSM phone with dual SIM card slots, a 176-by-220-pixel screen, a two-megapixel camera, Bluetooth support, and a microSD card slot with a built-in MP3 player app.
The product is being launched as part of the exclusive licensing contract concluded in February 2007 with HUMMER, a division of the General Motors Corporation, the article said. In addition, more than 50,000 HUMMER HT1 mobiles have been sold worldwide; the new HUMMER HT2 will be marketed in Russia in the first quarter of 2008 and in Latin America at the end of the second quarter, according to the report.
