Yesterday Olympus announced a new DSLR Model: the E-420, which the company claims is the smallest and lightest digital SLR out there. According to Dave Gussman, PC Magazine's camera analyst, the E-420 is an update to last year's E-410.
According to Dave:
Olympus claims that the E-420 is the smallest and lightest D-SLR on the market, but its size (5.1 inches by 3.6 inches by 2.1 inches) and weight (13.4 ounces) is not much lighter than that of competing models. So yes, it probably is the lightest in its category, but not by much.
He'll have one in soon for testing. For his full news story, go to PCMag.com.
