What's better than a brand new Jaguar XKR? An XKR that comes equipped with the domestic-quality Bowers & Wilkins audio entertainment system. The British loudspeaker manufacturer, known best for its top-of-the-line home audio products, has teamed up with Jaguar to produce a premium sound system made exclusively for the XKR Portfolio.

B&W says that a detailed component specification and selection process has yielded an audio set that will include the XKR-tailored Kevlar® mid-range speakers, extended high-frequency performance aluminum tweeters and the Signature Diamond speaker configuration by legendary designer Kenneth Grange. The company has even devised different acoustic response curves for the coupe and convertible models, which take account for the effect of lowering the roof.

The B&W system will make its debut at the NY Auto show on March 21-30 and come standard on all 2009 Jaguar XKR Portfolio models.
