Do you like the Razr2 V9 but wish it was a little more ... slide-y? Then you'll love the Motorola Z9, which I saw on the floor of the CTIA Wireless trade show today. The Z9 hasn't been officially announced yet, but I could scope some of its features out from the floor model, as well as its carrier: AT&T.
The Z9 is also larger, and a little chunkier than I expected. While it's not that thick, it's big, wide, and solid - much like the RAZR2. Just like the RAZR2, the Z9 appears to be running the old Synergy operating system, and have the Opera Web browser and a 2-megapixel camera. The big advance here seems to be the icon I found for "AT&T Navigation," AT&T's GPS product. That would make the Z9 the first consumer GPS phone for AT&T.
We'll probably be hearing more about this phone as the trade show continues, so keep your eye on PCMag.com for details. Two more pix after the jump.
