Alfa_Romeo_Mi.To.jpg

Alfa Romeo just announced the Mi.To, a car named for Milan (the origin's of the car's design) and Turin (where it will be manufactured). The car's styling evokes the 8C Competizione in the shape of the unframed side windows, the three-lobed motif on the front bumper, the shape of the headlights, and the LED taillights. The Mi.To will also feature a "contractive suspension," which is standard on all models and engines, that Alfa Romeo claims will considerably reduce roll.

The Mi.To will be offered with four engines that range in power from 90 hp to 155 hp, but no other specifics are available yet. The company said the car will also be equipped with both active and passive safety features, such as a standard VDC stability system and a platform that should achieve a top EuroNCAP safety rating in the future. There's no word yet on whether or not the Mi.To will make it to the U.S., but I'd sure like to see it here.
