I'm 19 years old, I've played GH before and I'm not too impressed. Something about just pressing 5 keys to the same old songs gets boring for me in about 1 hour. I can play that game on medium though. Rock Band is much more enjoyable, because you and 3 friends can play it together, though I only play that about once a month. People need to experience and remeber what going outside and playing baseball, street hockey and water gun fights were like. Its sad to think the youngest of kids today will most likely never know what it is to do stuff like that everyday because video games have taken over child hood.

If there is one thing I've learned about making money is once you've found a good thing to sell, keep em coming back. Naturally video games are addicting, it's an escapism for a lot of us, but guitar hero is the escapism for people who've always wanted to play but don't want to spend hundreds of dollars. Granted if you've never owned a PS2 or 3 and wanted to play, yes it would cost hundreds of dollars but that's besides the point.

Also, it is always a choice on how deep you want to go into the escapism. If getting a plushie is what you want, who's to stop you? When we purchase something or get a gift from a loved one who's concern is it of the public?

I play Guitar Hero 15 hours a day and still cant get enough.

3. Air guitaring is something everyone does. As long as there's a kick ass guitar lick in the background, it's totally normal. If you're doing with no guitar in the background, kill yourself.
4. The react pedals are for people who don't have time to use the whammy bar, and for people who mess up when they raise the guitar to deploy star power. The guitar hero controller is indeed not a real guitar, therefore, the pedals are not real pedals! Read the "whammy bar" and "star power" labels before you start being stupid.

I'm not sure all the accessories constitutes a Guitar Hero addiction, as much as just liking to buy stuff. As far as additiction, I work with true Guitar Hero addicts, so here are my signs of addiction, based on my observations...10:You talk about what songs would be good on GH; 9:You scoff at anyone who hasn't at least tried it; 8:You play GH while singing to it on a karaoke mike; 7:You compare your scores/levels at work; 6:You practice nightly; 5:You bring it along to every party you're invited to; 4:Even a baby shower! 3:You talk smack to anyone whose score is lower than yours; 2:Scold the UPS deliever guy for interrupting your practice; and the number ONE sign you're addicted to GH...You've asked the school to have a fund raiser to purchase it for P.E. class to improve hand/eye coordination.

There was a South Park episode that resembles a lot of what you say, when Stan's Dad pulls out his old 'real' guitar and all the boys think it's 'queer'. Giving the considering that Guitar Hero plus the console you're probably playing on is all together more than 600 dollars. But a starter guitar is like what, 200 dollars? Plus, you can go a lot more places learning how to play a 'real' guitar. But of course there are those kids who think one day they're going to eb the next big game creator, well then they better put down that fake plastic guitar they love so much and study up on programming.
Those are just some of my main ideas on this topic, and I agree that this game is a never ending addictive game. The only thing that someone could get out this game is 'Hand-Eye' coordination, but even then it's a far fetched idea of good.

I have been playing guitar semi professionally for over 10 years now and every time one of my little cousins tell me they want to buy guitar hero, I offer to buy them a guitar instead. Guitar hero is an absolutely horrible way for any child to spend their time. Maybe I'm wrong but I dont remember anyone ever making a million bucks because they knew how to play guitar hero really well... If they like the music that much (which is cool because apparently gh has some great classic rock tunes) then pick up a real guitar and you will actually get a sense of accomplishment and not some video game voice telling you that you beat a high score. There was a South Park episode that resembles a lot of what you say, when Stan's Dad pulls out his old 'real' guitar and all the boys think it's 'queer'. Giving the considering that Guitar Hero plus the console you're probably playing on is all together more than 600 dollars. But a starter guitar is like what, 200 dollars? Plus, you can go a lot more places learning how to play a 'real' guitar. But of course there are those kids who think one day they're going to eb the next big game creator, well then they better put down that fake plastic guitar they love so much and study up on programming.
Those are just some of my main ideas on this topic, and I agree that this game is a never ending addictive game. The only thing that someone could get out this game is 'Hand-Eye' coordination, but even then it's a far fetched idea of good.

I have been playing guitar semi professionally for over 10 years now and every time one of my little cousins tell me they want to buy guitar hero, I offer to buy them a guitar instead. Guitar hero is an absolutely horrible way for any child to spend their time. Maybe I'm wrong but I dont remember anyone ever making a million bucks because they knew how to play guitar hero really well... If they like the music that much (which is cool because apparently gh has some great classic rock tunes) then pick up a real guitar and you will actually get a sense of accomplishment and not some video game voice telling you that you beat a high score. Anyway, thats just what I think.

wow... my friends love guitar hero [[i've never played it]], but they dont have any of that "addiction" stuff you've shown. they love it, but not THAT much

So I love guitar hero as much as the next dork but yall should try this beleive it or not many a people have been shredding for centuries before guitar hero (IT'S CALLED A GUITAR) you know but without the hero on the end, it looks almost just like the controller but it's bigger, and instead of buttons and a strum bar it has usually about six long nickel strings, but don't fret (no pun intended) the whammy bar is still there, however in real life you have to tune your strings.

what is really sad is a lot of kids think just because they can play this silly video game, that they can play a real guitar (which most cant but think they can because they play guitar hero). Well, guitar hero's pretty fun, but RockBand is better.(more virtual instruments!)Nothing wrong with rockin' out on a game for all those musically challenged people (like me), but I suggest everyone at least find some friends to fake rock out with.
Anyways, game obsession isn't anything new, and I do agree that some people take it a little far. But I think some of those items are actually pretty cute, like the mini Guitar Hero game. I wouldn't mind having that, or the plushy. And I'm sure my nephew would love a toy guitar. And myself? actually I don't even own Guitar Hero or RockBand. But I play every now and then with people that do.
(And as a side note, my boyfriend does play a real guitar, but even he has fun playing a virtual guitar)

Ok, guitar hero is actually fun. Now, going to those extents are a little unreasonable. A real guitar is actually better, but really Guitar Hero is Keyboard Hero with strumming. That's all it is. It's nothing like real guitar.

Yeah, I understand that it has gone a little too far with some stuff, but I see no problem with the game. Learning a guitar is much more difficult, you have the notes, where to put your fingers, how to strum correctly, and the game narrows it down to five buttons. Yes, five buttons to play the guitar. It is a quick an easy competitive game to play with your friends that doesn't take a whole year to master.

I picked up the real thing 20 years ago . the only thing this is good for is finger dexterety and its kinda fun. my kids love the game but would rather hear dad grind the real axe

It's a lot easier to play Guitar Hero (though I don't agree with the more fun part) and sometimes people don't have the time to learn to play...and also it's not just "buy a guitar and start shredding" its more like "buy a guitar and amp and picks and cable and pitch pipe/electronic tuner and maybe lessons or a lesson book and learn songs and start shredding"

People need to stop getting addicted over an overrated piece of junk game. Every future installment is nothing but a repetitive and slight upgrade. This game is no different from those "sport" games which I do not know why they exist. If you are too fat and can spend time playing sports games, instead you need to exercise and play it not in a game. Same for guitar hero, Did you figure out you know nothing about how to play a real guitar after you played this for 1000+ hours? If you are 18+ and you are so addicted to such a childish game, you need to move on or see your doctor. Game companies like these make the most money out of idiots like these addicts.

So I have to say, this is just a game, and kids dont want to take the time and effort playing a real guitar. It is much more fun just to invite their friends over and play the game because it is more competetive than a real guitar. Also i believe that parents should regulate how much they're kids spend on video games, and if the parents allow their kids to buy all the accessories, then they are at fault.

Sorry Progressive Musician, but it doesn't seem that there will be a Piano Hero, but it seems that you are unaware of the fact that Guitar Hero does have bass parts for co-op play and that there is a game called Rock Band that has guitar, bass, vocal and drum parts for every song and if you get the complete set up you get a controller for each except bass. Oh and this article missed one thing, they are making a game called Guitar Hero On Tour, for the DS.

Wow. It's just a game. I know a lot of people who play Guitar Hero, most of them are actual musicians and the game is a perfect fit for their interests and tastes. I myself play guitar, have been for about 6 years, and gravitated to GH (admittedly I only own the third incarnation) naturally.

I agree that outside of the game and even the guitar (you don't even need to have it, it's actually easier to play without the guitar) the little extras might be a little much. But seriously, it's just a game. Who cares?

Guitar hero is a fun little game. Its there for pure entertainment. Most of the comments here are derogatory and something to the tune of "Yeah, whatever, blah, blah,blah..play a real guitar." I can play a real guitar. Have been doing it for 15 years+. Played real live gigs and have a real band. And I play guitar Hero and Rockband. Its just another way to have FUN. Not everyone has the coordination to play a real instrument and the game helps them out with that. Its my experience that people who constantly talk bad about the game are just mad because they have been beaten by a child at it. Real musical instruments take time and dedication, skill and perseverance to learn and is rewarding. Being good at a game also takes a similar amount of dedication, and is also rewarding. Unlike being in a real band, no one is ever too sick, drunk, or not in the mood to play so the game has real life beat in that aspect. Once again people, its just for enjoyment so dont rag on those who play. No one ever rags on you because you cant play for real. I know someone with no esteem, open mindedness, or understanding will flame this post to make themselves feel better and thats fine. It just proves me right.

OK. After reading some of these posts. The only people on here are people that are not obsessed with guitar hero. Most of the people on here is telling the "obsessed" people that it isnt a real guitar. I think the players have come to realize the fact its just a few buttons (right?). And to the people that say "why dont you just grab a REAL guitar and learn to play it?!" 1. its not that easy to just "grab" a guitar when you dont have one 2. it takes a good amount of time to learn to play guitar right. I have 2 guitars and i love to play them. I also have guitar hero and i like playing that with friends or when i have nothing to do. Honestly, i think the non-obsessors over guitar hero are obsessed with criticizing people for something they like to do. Do America a favor and mind your own business.

Yes it's true that all of this might mean you are too in love with gutar hero but i have a friend who loves it way more than just buying the stuff that goes with it. My friend graduated last year and he has had so much time on his hands he has learned to play every sing without looking. He can walk into another room and start talking to people and still be playing. You can unplug the yellow video wire and he can still play it perfect. and yes, this is all on expert. I think that my friend loves guitar hero wayyyy too much.

i don't see what the big deal is? i Own a martin DCME road series guitar and like many other i ALSO play guitar hero... Why? because its a video game and you play it with other people... is this entire concept lost on the world right now. Guitar hero is a fun little game. Its there for pure entertainment. Most of the comments here are derogatory and something to the tune of "Yeah, whatever, blah, blah,blah..play a real guitar." I can play a real guitar. Have been doing it for 15 years+. Played real live gigs and have a real band. And I play guitar Hero and Rockband. Its just another way to have FUN. Not everyone has the coordination to play a real instrument and the game helps them out with that. Its my experience that people who constantly talk bad about the game are just mad because they have been beaten by a child at it. Real musical instruments take time and dedication, skill and perseverance to learn and is rewarding. Being good at a game also takes a similar amount of dedication, and is also rewarding. Unlike being in a real band, no one is ever too sick, drunk, or not in the mood to play so the game has real life beat in that aspect. Once again people, its just for enjoyment so dont rag on those who play. No one ever rags on you because you cant play for real. I know someone with no esteem, open mindedness, or understanding will flame this post to make themselves feel better and thats fine. It just proves me right.

Hey, guitar hero is fun! I don't own it, but i can't see it being any worse than reading stupid articles on the internet and replying to them like i'm doing now. Alot of people don't have the time or willingness to learn how to play guitar. I played it a few times with my friends and it was hella fun. I think they should incorporate a midi keyboad and make a game that actually teaches you how to play piano, it would be simple, but piano just doesn't rock as much. They could play innagodda da vida thought that would be pretty wicked!

gh is not that bad, it's so much better than other video games that could inspire violence. plus gh can be a social game. although the time could be "better" used for learning a real instrument, most kids who play gh, would probably never be interested in that and gh at least gets them closer to music...and who knows, maybe gh could inspire a kid to actually learn guitar, who never would have even considered it.

Im 18. And first off - after reading some of these posts (usually posted by haters of guitar hero) some of these people are literally angry about this game. Are you serious? Second, people are saying its not a real guitar like the people that play didnt realize that (right?). Third, people are saying "why dont you just grab a REAL guitar and learn to play it?!" Ok - Its hard to "grab" a guitar when you dont have one, a decent guitar costs like 200 dollars (i would know, i have 2 of them). It takes awhile to learn to play a real guitar. Trust me, im not obsessed with guitar hero, i just play it from time to time. I believe the people that are "angry" and love to rant about obsessers with guitar hero need to check themselves because the obsessors of guitar hero arn't criticizing people about what they like to do. For all the haters out there - do America a favor and get the hell out of everyone's business.

There are driving games with wheels and petal excesories you can buy and noone bashes those games? wtf is wrong with all of you. it just shows how little lives all of you have to sit here and bash a fun and succesfull game that odviously many people like. Even though there is a game made where u use a fake guitar, that does not in any way take anything away from a real guitar. Man let them play...how many pet rocks did you own...or troll dolls..with cloths. and that darn hoola hoop....It's a toy and it is fun to watch them play and even know older songs, when music was music.

i personally own all four guitar hero games for the ps2 connsol but i have never even considered putting the time and effort it get all that junk on the list thats psyco!

there was someone saying something about "wheres drum hero, bass hero and piano hero" gh2-3 have a bass option, and rockband has drums.

People need to learn how to play a real guitar. Playing a real instrument is really rewarding, and it can improve your skill in other areas the reswt of your life. I can understand the want to play video games, but taking it to the top may suggest that you have nothing better to do. I really need to stress the importance of making something out of your self. Maybe they need to get into something more rewarding like, going and getting a education, or a promotion, read books, or PARTY or something people. Get a life! But at least this game isn't violent.

I am a musician and have played guitar hero, so I feel qualified to chime in. The game is fun! Yes, playing for real is better, but there are positive attributes to the game guitar hero. You get to play along with music and develop some rhythm, and your fingers get a work out. Let's not forget that this is a GAME and is easier than playing for real, although the harder difficulty levels require some practice. Furthermore, the game and accessories are cheaper than a quality instrument, and I know guitar teachers who are fully booked because their students got hooked on the game and started playing for real. So, if you get the chance to try it, and you like having fun, I'd go for it!

I am a 40 yr old guy that has been playinmg REAL guitar since I was 16. I really like the GH games. Not to the point of obsession like others, but it is a cool game. The people that keep saying " just go out and learn to play a real guitar" have probably never tried it. And, keep in mind that we live in a digital age. My children, and kids today for that matter, are growing up in an age where video games are as much of our culture as going outside to play for hours was when I was a kid. I have never played Guitar Hero. I don't need to, I lived it.

I have a 47y/o male friend who is addicted to this game and has all the versions. The way he talks about it, you'd think he was playing a real guitar. Its sad & kinda pathetic. And now knowing there are 'accessories' for the guitar... Seriously people, like Matt said way up there, ITS A SIMON! Being able to push 5 buttons in a a sequence is NOT musical ability and does NOT make you a musician of any sort.

Why not make a game that teaches you how to play a real instrument, or any other real skill set? Why do these kids (including the 30 yo kids) spend so much time practicing and learning such complicated details for mastering useless skills? If you spent that much time on anything real, you would actually have something to show for your time on this planet. The game makers are wasting a huge opportunity, and the game users are wasting their time.

I enjoy playing guitar hero with my kids who are 6 and 8. If it weren't for this game my kids would never have been so into some of the classic songs I enjoyed growing up. In playing guitar hero they are leaning eye hand coordination, without getting frustrated that what they are playing doesn't sound like anything. I bought them both real guitars a while back, but they lost interest almost immediatly, but after the guitar hero games they are more interested in them again and are eager to learn. When they get frustrated with them they can always sit down relax and play out some tunes on the game. I love that my 6 year old daughter loves war pigs! So don't hate too much.

While I admit those accessories are going overboard, I have nothing against Guitar Hero. I own almost all of the games (don't have Rock the 80s yet), and I play them for fun. They don't control my life. What's more, I own an acoustic guitar I practice on when I don't feel like playing Guitar Hero. The way I see it, I've got the best of both worlds. Guitar Hero is when I feel like goofing off; the acoustic guitar is more when I'm feeling serious. Simple as that. :)

WOW...guitar hero rocks but i dont need a pillow of the guitar, i dont need a guitar stand, or a mini cell phone version of the game...makes me kind of not want to play at all. all i got to say is LOSERS to anyone who actually spent money on any of these items...

I am 22 years old, married with a kid and I play guitar hero and rockband all the time. I have many other hobbies its just that I don't have many other hobbies to do in hte winter time here (Minnesota) so I play rock band since it is to cold outside to do much. I have a ton of hobbies and in the spring summer and fall I am outside doing them.

People, seriously... I own a real guitar and all of the guitar hero games. The real guitar is harder than hell, so I love the heck out of these games. It's a hobby people and nothing more, you can't hate someone for liking something. And guess what, my friend that can play guitar better than me, yeah I can spank him in Guitar Hero. This game is no different than any other thing in life, whether it's people's obsession with their Prada handbags, expensive shoes, cars, etc. It's a nice hobby that actually provides some exercise as opposed to many other things people could be doing.

I got myself the whole Rock Band set, and I gotta admit its addicting but I didn't go too far as to just stick to the game, I actually bought myself a real electric guitar and started learning the real deal rather than being obsessed with a virtual guitar.

The game's not about learning to play or anything like that. It's just a game. Do people get all worked up like this over sports games. i.e. you shouldn't play Madden games, go out and play for real. While yes, that's not a good example because of the exercise that you get from actually playing a sport, the point is that nobody complains about it like you guys are here. As for all these accessories, hey if people are actually going to shell out money for some of this stuff, why not make them. I have been a fan of the GH series for a little over two years and I agree that some of the accessories are just a little over the top The positive for me that I gained from playing GH is that I have grown to like different styles of rock especially classic rock which I barely listened to before playing the games.

Just to get this out there right off, NO... I don't play GH. No I don't spend hours of my day playing Video Games, ever. I do however make a living playing collectible card games. Buying, Selling, and competing in them, in fact. It is good enough money to pay my bills, my bosses bills, and run our store.

The World Championship for Magic the Gathering has a top prize of $1,000,000.00(yes that is one million dollars) and sees thousands of people competing for the Title every year. Other games such as Yugioh and Pokemon have cash prize tournaments and professional circuits on a fairly smaller level, but worth enough to make a living doing that and nothing else...

Did you know that there are cash tournaments for GH? Did you know that for a lot of video games there are actually tournaments where people can win thousands of dollars for winning? Halo, Gears of War, and games just like them are a market, and they aren't "JUST" a waste of time.

So... laugh at the 23 year old guy who lives in his mothers basement playing GH for 15 hours a day. Go ahead.

When he wins a World Tournament for $500,000.00 and buys himself a car and a house all of his own... gets an invitation by three game companies to come be a spokesman for them... AND wants to offer him a million dollar contract for 10 years... What then? Wasn't so dumb was he?

I am not saying that they have an excuse to just sit and play video games all day... or that everyone of the lazy people who play GH all day and live for it are going to win a million bucks... but that is up to the parents to decide what they want out of their children, and then for their children to decide what they want from themselves.

Personally I enjoy playing GH3. People do get obsessed over the game but, as a kid some of us just don't have the money to buy a nice gutair, or lessons, and don't have a natural skill to teach themselves. The entire GH line was made for fun. And I have a controller that gets annoying to just have out so there is the reason for the controller holder. None of you probably play and are older guys trying to sound cool and hate on GH, its for fun and all of those are to help KIDS THAT LIKE TO HAVE FUN!!!

We have Guitar Hero II & III and Rock Band. We play Rock Band more and have a blast playing that as a family. I will tell you that more people are addicted to Call of Duty and Halo games than Guitar Hero. All the teens I know are playing Call of Duty and only play guitar Hero or Rock band when they have other friends over that want to play it but they play the war games more on live against other people more hours than the guitars get played.

Ok I have seen a lot of folks post that they don't have the time to learn the guitar.. Thats a cop out, I not only play real guitar and have for 30+ years I also teach guitar. I have seen my son play this silly game for 3 or 4 hours at a time and yet most of my students take a 1 hour lesson a week and i ask them to practice 30 minutes a day. So if you can sit there for 3 hrs on GH you can give 3 hrs a week to a real instrument.

As for the songs on GH most are simplifed versions and some are down right wrong (wrong key, simplifed solos etc..) yes im being harsh and i understand its a game. But to those who say everyone here plays video games, well I dont, I would rather use that time to learn a michael angelo batio or steve vai solo note for note and go make 500.00 playing guitar in a bar for the weekend. The comment about learning real guitar being too expensive lets compare cost:

Real Guitar:

I am a disabled veteran and have seen war up close and personal and for that reason I dont allow those kinds of games in my house (call of duty, battlefield, socom, etc...)Killing is never cool not even in simulation.

I do agree that kids need to get out more but look at the ones who do and get in trouble. When i was younger, i took lessons to learn to play. After over 2 years and i still couldn't even play the chorus of patience by guns n roses, i gave it up. some people just dont have the knack for it. i would love to be able to play the guitar, but for those of us who honestly cant, cut us some slack. i have gh for 360 and the whole family enjoys it. also have the singstars and rockband. it all good fun.

I play electric and bass guitar, and also guitar hero. It is just a game, but it can be crazy fun, like any video game. My little brother can play guitar hero on expert mode and he is awesome at it, but can't play real guitar. All the people hating on this article and the game have obviously never played it, if they did then they would KNOW. Go to Best Buy and try it out, all you haters will love it. Obviously naming the guitar controllers and guitar hero pillows is a little much, but no more than any other fad. There are people who have entire hello-kitty themed rooms, complete with hello-kitty bathroom and toilet paper with the kitty's face on it! So my advice for the haters is go play the game, and then see how much shit you can talk about people who ADORE it.

This is a little much, why don't all these people learn to play an actual guitar, it is a lot cooler than Guitar Hero. To play a real guitar doesn't mean you need talent, you just need to be patient. The long run satisfaction of playing a guitar is much better than Guitar Hero.

first off you know nothing of my teaching methods so I will clue you in. I do not do the old tired "twinkle twinkle little star" thing. That has always sucked I find out what bands my students like and teach then songs they like by breaking down the riffs into digestable smaller bits. Secondly while I do make money off of it its no great fortune (only 20.00 a week) I have a good day job as an engineer and do it mainly to help someone who enjoys music.

I checked out guitar rising site and while it looks like it will be a good teaching tool for guitar it is nothing new. I have used software similar to that for years (I.E. Guitar Pro, Tabledit, Guitar vision) which from what i see guitar rising has a little more video game feel to it. but again its noting new or revolutionary the concept has been around for a decade. The problem its going to have just like all the others is the copyright infringement lawsuits that are sure to come from the artists of the songs. I'm sure there will be sites soon to follow just like all the others that will allow users to convert and download songs to this format and then like all the others the hammer of the recording industry will come down and screw it up for everyone who sees it a useful tool for teaching.

Finally, If by teaching my kids war is not a game or something to be taken lightly through my real life combat experience and not wanting them to have to experience it first hand is considered an "oppressive household" then so be it

I have two reasons guitar hero is better:

1) Real guitars cost alot, and can be bulky as well (more so with acoustics).
Guitar hero= Not as much, even with the guitar, and

2)How long does it take to learn guitar?
Now, compare that to how long it takes to learn guitar hero. Guitar can just be downright impossible at times, and it doesn't have a practice mode

Playing guitar hero doesn't make you any better or any worse than someone else. The game and the real thing are two totally different concepts. Some people can play guitar but not guitar hero and vice versa while some can play and enjoy both. As long as neither of these become too time consuming for you to take care of your business, don't worry about it.

I'm sick of always hearing "why don't you just play the real guitar." The answer is pretty obvious, it's because last time I checked you can't get achievement points playing the real guitar, and if you can't get achievement points doing something it's not worth doing at all. So you can keep playing your regular guitar that your most likely are horrible at, and I'll keep playing over hundred hit songs almost flawlessly. And yes I would buy any of the above items.

Pick up a real guitar and learn how to play it? Hmm. I have been hearing that everywhere. So you're gonna rank on people for playing this game or wanting to buy the accessories just because they don't have money for a real guitar or the actual time to learn it? Songs that we would want to play are way out of our profession seeing as it would take years to play Dragonforce: Through the Fire and Flames. I have seen a video of the actual band Dragonforce playing this game and they play real guitars and enjoyed it. Oh this is wasting our life? What about trying to learn a guitar and then sucking on it badly leaving that time to actually learn something useful instead of learning the impossible. "Pick up a real guitar" is the most hated phrase I have heard about the game. I play Guitar Hero. I am great on it. Yet, I am a tuba player and I do have a life seeing as I'm the best damn tuba player in my county and I enjoy knowing the fact that I might not be able to play a real guitar but as a simulation of one such as the Guitar Hero game offers, I do enjoy the time it brings. People liked Barbie (yes the doll) a lot and brought a ton of her useless stuff. Games, pillows, hairdressers, and yet you don't look at that. What about hotwheels? People have taken the time to design actual cars to the original designs of hotwheel cars and they are way older than I am. I play 'real' guitar as well, but guitar hero is pretty darn fun in its own way. i don't think it gives you a super boost on playing guitar, but its a fun diversion, for sure.
