Norman the Gnome

The weirdest collection of techie toys I've ever seen at the Toy Fair goes to Westminster Inc. Its new toy line consists of:

  • Norman the Gnome ($24.99), a motion-activated, door-greeting gnome that talks, waves, and says 11 mean things
  • Whack-a-Mouse ($19.99), similar to Whack-a-Mole except you're whacking mice instead
  • Fountain Fun Duck ($7.99), a battery-operated rubber duckie that lights up and makes a quacking sound once placed in water
  • RC Rat with Fur ($19.99), a remote-controlled rat that is guaranteed to scare someone's little sister. Why the emphasis on "with fur"? The company's previous R/C rat model didn't have fur you could feel!

Check out more photos of Westminster's toys after the jump.

Detector Camera ($5.99)
Although it looks like a real video camera, it doesn't actually record. It has a flashing red light and scans back and forth.

Something for the duck enthusiast Blogging Molly!

Battery-Powered Chi Chi ($7.99)
This puppy Chihuahua walks forward, barks, shakes its head, and wags its tail.

Crazy Cluck: The Wacky Chicken ($23.99)
This crazy chicken dances to what else but the Chicken Dance. Squeeze his wing and he flaps his wings and sways back and forth to the music. But don't grab his neck, or else he'll squawk and gasp for air!

Basket Case ($5.99)
Totally not techy, but it's so wacky I just had to mention it! You strap the basketball hoop to your head and play with yourself!
