You didn't think the Weird Hunter would miss this year's Toy Fair, did you? The first booth I stopped at this morning was Screenlife Games. If you're not familiar with the company's line of Scene It? games, it's a collection of DVD-based board games that offer trivia on your favorite movies or TV shows. The one I'm most excited about is the Scene It? Seinfeld Deluxe Edition ($39.99). Now you can enjoy all those classic episodes, from "man hands" to "Yada Yada Yada" by testing your knowledge with on-screen puzzlers. The set includes the Flextime Game Board and Game DVD with Bonus Content. For 2 or more players and ages 13 to adult, look for it in fall 2008.
Debuting in spring 2009 to coincide with the new movie is Scene It? Deluxe Star Trek Edition ($39.99) for ages 13 and up. Players will enjoy real television and movie clips from all six series and all ten movies. It also includes the Flextime Game Board and Game DVD with Bonus Content.
