NWZ-S710F.jpgSony announced a slew of new music players and accessories, including headphones, speakers, Bluetooth receivers, and audio recorders, early this morning.

Among the music players introduced by the company are the NWZ-S710F, NWZ-A720, NWZ-A820, and the NWZ-A820K. The S710F is available in 4- and 8GB, offering built-in noise canceling, a 1.8-inch QVGA LCD, an FM tuner and 33 hours of music playback on a single charge. The A720 is WMA DRM compatible, features a 2.4-inch screen and included EX headphones, and comes in 4-, 8- and 16GB capacitities. The A820 offers 16GB, built-in Bluetooth, a 2.4-inch screen, EX headphones, and built-in video file deletion. The A820K, meanwhile, offers all the same features as the A820, in an 8GB size.

Sony's new line of active style headphones include MDR-AS100W Over the Head Earbud Headphones, MDR-AS50G Behind the Neck Earbud Headphones, MDR-AS40EX Over the Ear Earbud Headphones, MDR-AS30G Around the Neck Headphones, MDR-AS20J Around the Ear Headphones. All of the models will be available in March, and will be available for $100, $50, $40, $30, and $20, respectively.



The MDR-NC40 Noise Canceling Headphones, meanwhile, feature urethane cushioning, designed for users looking for the ideal accesory for in-flight music listening. The headphones fold into their included case and offer 40 hours of noise-canceling listening on a single AAA battery.

The EX line of earbuds are designed to offer high quality in-ear output. The line, which includes the EX700LP, EX75, EX55, and EX32LP will be available in March, for prices ranging from $300 to $25. The Fahion Earbud line, on the other hand, offers a lower price option, ranging from $10-$15.

Sony is also introducing new lines of behind-the-neck and children's headphones. The children's models are lightweight, low volume headphones available for $15. The behind-the-neck models will be available in prices ranging from $15-$25.

The DRC-BT15 Stereo Bluetooth Receiver is a $130 device designed to convert standard headphones into a Bluetooth headset, while the SRS-BT100 Bluetooth Speaker runs $160, giving users a stereo system for outputting their Bluetooth music playing devices.

The company is also introducing a new line of voice recorders. The ICD-UX70 and ICD-UX80 are designed to be, "the Swiss Army Knife of digital voice recorders," according to the company. The UX series features MP3 music playback, high quality sound recording, and ID3 file tagging. Both are PC and Mac compatible. The ICD-SX68 and ICD-SX68DR9 voice recorders, meanwhile, are designed to work with Dragon's NaturallySpeaking voice recognition software, letting users quickly convert voice to text. The ICD-UX70 and ICD-UX80 are available for $100 and $150, while the ICD-SX68 and ICD-SX68DR9 will run $150 and $200.

The ICD-P620 digital voice recorder is designed for Internet broadcasters, featuring Digital Voice Editor software. The unit will be price at $60. At $40, the ICD-B600 is the cheapest of the bunch, featuring 512MB of flash memory.

Sony is also adding iPod and iPhone compatibility to its line of clock radios. The clocks, which charge the Apple players when docked, will be available for $100 through Sony's store, beginning in May.

Sony's new PFR-V1 personal field speakers claim to "create a listening field around your ears," using one-inch, die-cast aluminum speakers. The speakers will be available in April for $500. Sony's SRS-ZX1 will be available at the same time, for $400, featuring sound output that is designed to mimic live music.
