Hyundai plans to unveil several new vehicles at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2008, including a new range of production-ready environmentally friendlier cars, CAR magazine reports. The HED-5 concept minivan (pictured above) seats six and is reported to get "excellent fuel economy," though that claim doesn't hold a lot of water until the company releases more details about its drivetrain. More promising are the mainstream i10 and i30 models, which will also be shown next month; photo after the jump.

Hyundai's new line of Eco-Dynamic cars will skip the high-end stop/start systems making news in Europe and instead focus on the basics, the article reports, such as aerodynamic improvements, low rolling resistance tires, and higher gear ratios: "Hyundai claims this will cut C02 emissions by up to 29 percent, so expect both cars to produce less than 100g/km."

The i10 is a pure economy hatchback that will cost 6,500 pounds, while the larger and more upscale i30 will cost about 10,000 pounds.
