Gearlog radio listeners may have missed me last time, but I'm back this week for a jam-packed show. First, we bring on Associate Editor Kyle Monson to point us toward the best places on the Web to get free music.Blogs editor Brian Heater attended last week's first Greener Gadgets Conference in NYC and saw some useful eco-friendly gadgets coming to market.
On the second half, senior editor Carol Mangis graces us with her presence to give us the scoop on LeapFrog's upcoming tech toys, including a new handheld platform called the Didj Custom Gaming System. It's geared for an older set, kids 6 to 10, and lets them customize the games to fit their current schoolwork. Stay tuned for the Hot Five in Five with Brian and, of course, Weird Gear with me!
