With all the sheer madness that was CES Eve, it was difficult picking and choosing which events to attend last night. But when Motorola showcased a few of its new handsets during a relatively intimate press conference at the Wynn Hotel, we knew that we had made the right choice.
The star of the night was the ROKR E8, which was officially unveiled at the event. Among the several impressive features the new ROKR offers are a ModeShift technology, which transforms the handset's illuminated keys into those of a phone or music player; impressive haptics tactile feedback technology; and Fastscroll navigation.
Fortunately for all of us, PC Mag's Sascha Segan is a quick study, and he took us through the paces of the phone's features, some of which have to be seen to be believed.
BTW... Thanks for the coverage of the keynote - this is a great summary for people not in Vegas. I've included a link and hope that you have a great time at CES. I'm interested in seeing more details on how companies are addressing privacy concerns through new technology and service offerings.

I'm not really into music phones (yet), but this one looks soooo cool! I bet this will be a hit once it reaches market.
