In tech circles, Apple has long been infamous for its secrecy. It's gotten to the point that gadget blogs will post any scrap of information that might possibly have leaked in advance of a Steve Jobs keynote--blurry camera phone pics, sketches, and crude mockups. So with that in mind, we present to you this odd dispatch sent to us this morning from a laptop-case manufacturing company:
Expect a press release late Wednesday night regarding a new laptop case to SHIP THIS FRIDAY if Steve Jobs announces a new laptop at Macworld tomorrow. Two additional custom cases will follow in a matter of weeks.
Just a heads-up to keep an eye out for it if you are interested .
Speculation? An honest-to-god leak? Are we thinking way to much about this? Probably, but after a similar Gizmodo story this morning involving another company's case, let's just say that our curiosity is piqued.
