Now that we're on the other side of 2007, it's time to wax nostalgic about the technologies that have shaped the past 365 days. PC Mag's editor-in-chief emeritus Michael Miller spent the last day of the year doing just that.
Instead of focusing on the obvious choices--the iPhone, Vista, Facebook, and the millions of Google announcements that have occurred over the past 12 months--Michael opted to showcase a few of the overlooked tech events of 2007, including the growth of NAND, the explosion of the mobile platform, the evolution of social networks into Web apps, and more.
