To be perfectly honest, there's a part of me that's a touch sick and tired of seeing Guitar Hero everywhere I look, this week at CES. We've seen hundreds of Guitar Hero plugins, knockoffs, and every company demoing an HDTV or surround sound system is inviting attendees up to play a game on their superior hardware.

I figured that I was going to gouge my eyes out if I had to watch one more demo of the game. And then we saw this. It's the Guitar Hero Air Guitar Rocker. It combines the related, if somewhat divergent worlds of Guitar Hero and the air guitar into one amazing package, and we have the video to prove it.

Rock On.

TGSeal and dave must have their shorts in a very tight knot. Loosen up before you bowels constrict.

Man, give the guy some credit! He rocked out on his air guitar!! If you don't like it, then don't buy it people. But I'm sure tons of people will get a kick out of it. I certainly do.

TGSeal & spiral...

Get real dudes! How immature do you have to be to respond with a death threat over a cool innovative technology. Can you airheads not see the expanded applications this technology could be used for?

I think it looks like a ton of fun. It is certainly a lot easier than Gituar Hero :) I think it will be a big seller to the 80's crowd, techies, and perfect for young kids.

If you dont like what this new toy is then I suggest you click that little X at the top right corner of your browser. I however am sure that in March I will join in with the rest who like it and buy one. I love Guitar Hero III hadnt played anything before that but it is fun and Air Guitar Hero should be a hoot.

Funniest thing about this is that they think "ohh yeah!! I can rock out, through the fire and flames on expert!!" But if you gave them a real guitar, they probably couldn't get the first 5 notes right! That's what i find the funniest about guitar hero

March 21, 2008 10:22 PM

I am talking about the video after this with a kid playing through the fire and flames on expert, my comment had nothing to do with the air guitar video, i think that would be pretty neat

I think its a break-through for American Technology. It'll get all of the Lazy, couch potatoe, obese, video game playing, people off their ass and be more interesting in progessing music and being more physical.

i think guitar hero is the biggest waste of time ever. if some of these guys actually put that kind of hardwork and determination in to playing real guitar. they would be pretty bad-ass. i'm not hating though. diff'rent strokes to rule the world!

I'm not really sure what all the flaming is about. If you don't like the air guitar thingy, that's fine, suggest something else, but don't tell me that this idea stinks enough to provoke a murder.

I have been playing guitar for almost 26 years and I think this is the stupidest idea I have ever seen. Perfect though for todays music which requires no talent what so ever, but I am offended that gods like blackmore and iommi licsensed there riffs for these wankers. Hey asshole learn to play the resl thing!

You people are pretty much morons for notunderstanding this. He just moved his damn hands....
The songs are ALREADY MADE, all you need to do is move your hand OVER the belt with the pick, that can be recognized by the belt, up and down. Every time you lap up or down a note/chord is played. Your other hand has NOTHING to do with it. Look? How the HELL could it be able to tell what your empty hand is doing? It wouldn't.... He just made it LOOK like it did....

You know, I can say the same thing about people playing car game. The GH game are not about being able to play real guitar, it's about having the eye-hand coordination and fun. Maybe you should think a lil more before farting your wisdom all over the web.
