Belkin ConserveBelkin seems rather busy at this year's CES, announcing 10 new products that I'm rather excited about, including an 8-outlet surge protector with remote control and fun laptop bags.

Belkin Conserve ($49.99, summer 2008)
Pictured here, this is probably the coolest surge protector I've ever heard of, and it doesn't require you having to reach behind your desk or TV to turn off devices. The Conserve is an 8-outlet surge protector with a wireless remote control that lets you completely shut off the power to devices that consume standby power, such as TVs or computer monitors, when not in use. Even more, there are two "always-on" outlets for devices that always need to stay on, such as your cable modem or DVR.
Ceylon Messenger ($49.99, late January)
A slim and lightweight water-resistant messenger bag with multiple compartments for a 15.4-inch laptop and accessories. Available in colors: black/light grey, grey/lavender, grey/green, and grey/blue.
Desktop Internet Phone for Skype ($99.99, March)
Plugs into port on wired/wireless router or a live Ethernet port so you can start making calls. It features speaker, speed dial, call hold/release, call pickup/park, mute, redial, hold, call-timer display, and contact list for over 500 Skype and SkypeOut contacts.

Backpack ($59.99 available now)
Prefer a backpack? This one features a plush inner lining to protect up to 15.4-inch laptops from scratches, a separate pouch for power adapter and cables, and phone compartment in shoulder strap. Available in colors: dark gray/green, dark gray/light blue, dark gray/lavender, black/light gray, and jet/cabernet. Laptop Hideaway
Laptop Hideaway ($49.99, late January)

SOHO KVM (from $159-$269, February)
Share one monitor, keyboard, and mouse between two or more computers. It's newly designed with a built-in USB 2.0 2-port hub and touch sensitive buttons on the front for convenient switching. Available in VGA or DVI, PS2, or USB.
DisplayPort Cable (from $59.99-$109.99, April)
A high-def digital audio video cable for displays, graphic cards, and laptops. It's available in 3-, 6-, and 10-foot lengths.
TuneBase FM for iPhone and iPod ($99.99, April)
In the car often? Then listen to music from your iPod or iPhone using Belkin's new TuneBase FM for iPhone and iPod. It features ClearScan technology, line-out for use with car-stereo inputs or cassette adapter, and flexible neck to reposition either device easily.
7 New Cases for iPhone & iPod Models (from $19.99-$29.99, March)
These new cases include a sleek Travel Case for iPod nano that holds your earbuds and credit cards; Micro Grip Case for iPod nano, classic, touch, and iPhone, made of molded rubber with screen/click wheel protection; and Slim Fit with Carabiner for iPod nano.
