It's happening: Mustek, maker of digital photo frames and cameras, announced that it will launch at CES 2008 the PF-i700, a 7-inch TFT LCD digital photo frame with an integrated iPod docking station. Users will be able to play music from their iPods along with displaying photos on the frame.
"For years consumers have stored their music libraries on iPods, and now they're saving their favorite photos, TV shows, video clips and movies there, too," explained David Ficken, National Sales & Marketing Manager for Mustek. "The new PF-i700 has the expanded multimedia capabilities to play all these digital entertainment options on one screen without the cable clutter, redefining today's iPod experience."
The PF-i700 features 480-by-234 pixel resolution, widescreen 16:9 aspect ratio, MPEG & Xvid playback, stereo speakers, headphone jack, and the ability to display photos in both portrait and landscape positions.
It supports SD, xD, MMC, MemoryStick and MemoryStick Pro cards, and also has a USB 2.0 port for thumb drives.
