 Today Kingston started shipping the Media Reader: a high-speed media card reader that is compatible with 19 popular types of Flash memory cards. With four built-in slots for the various card formats, the Kingston Media Reader features a retractable chassis that protects inserted cards. It also has a short, compact USB cable for use with a notebook or other portable device with a USB port while on the road. It measures just 3.61 by 2.71 by 0.79 inches and works with Windows 2000/XP/Vista and Mac OS (10.x and above).
The full list of Flash cards it supports: CompactFlash I and II, SD, SDHC, miniSD, miniSDHC, microSD, microSDHC, MMC, MMCmobile (DV RSMMC), MMCplus, MMCmicro, RS-MMC, Microdrive; as well as Memory Stick Micro (M2), Memory Stick, and Memory Stick PRO/Duo/PRO Duo.
The Kingston Media Reader carries a two-year warranty and sells for $17.
