We've all found ourselves in this familiar scenario: The iPod is running low on juice, but there's no charging dock to be found. By a bizarre set of coincidences, however, we do have our iPod's USB cable, an onion, and a full bottle of Gatorade. Fortunately, Household Hacker has your back.

One electrolyte-soaked onion with a well-placed hole later, and you'll never have to stop the rock.

You should at least try making this "onion charger" before you post step-by-step instructions telling readers how to destroy their USB cable. This doesn't work because there's no flow of current through the onion. This guy is just using your knowledge of the popular "lemon battery" you made in 6th grade to get you to believe this bull.
