Dude, who needs a drink?
Should you ever find yourself in Manhattan's Greenwich Village answering that question, you may recognize the dude serving you shots as the same guy who was trying to sell you a computer--not in a blue polo shirt at Chelsea Best Buy, however. This dude was hawking his goods on national television.
Ben Curtis has been waiting tables and tending bar at Manhattan's Tortilla Flats for a year and a half to help pay his ungodly NYC rent bill, in between spots on "Law & Order" and appearances in indie flicks. He's got a sense of humor about the whole thing--he dressed as the Dell Dude this Halloween, but according to a profile in this week's New York Magazine, those drunken requests to "do the line" will more than likely be flatly rejected.
However, he'll be more than happy to discuss his prog-rock blues band, Whale, which is composed of former actors and sounds like "God Farts," according to the band's obligatory MySpace page.
