Recent Ignatz Award winner and all-round cool dude Alec Longstreth has posted an online version of his mini-comic, The Dvorak Zine. Unfortunately, the work isn't a graphic exploration into the life and loves of our resident Cranky Geek. Rather, it deals with the almost-as-exciting world of keyboard layouts.
Longstreth explains the genesis of the Qwerty keyboard and its younger--far more logical--brother, Dvorak. And why, if we had any sense at all, we'd immediately adopt the superior layout.
Yeah right, Alec, just as soon as we're finished converting all of our traffic signs to the metric system.
Oh, and fair warning: Boing Boing linked to the site last night, and right on cue, its bandwidth was exceeded; so you might have to wait a bit to enjoy the graphical geeky goodness.
